Business is on the rise in Clinton’s quaint downtown district with new cafes and boutique shopping. In fact, Explore Feliciana Magazine named Clinton one of the “fastest growing main street communities in the state,” in its July, 2005 issue. Still, you’ll find a friendly slice of all things Americana as visitors and locals alike connect to a smaller way of life among the peaceful southern culture.

Downtown Clinton’s Main Street plays host to the monthly Clinton Community Market offering food, music and more the first Saturday of every month. Main Street also serves as the gathering place for many of Clinton’s unique festivals and events. The small, close-knit area makes it a convenient launching place for a historic walking tour or a great place for a coffee break between shops.
