Be sure to put this educational stop on your itinerary located along the Scenic Byway of LA10 in the beautiful rolling hills of East Feliciana Parish.

An outstanding collection of Greek Revival, Victorian and Carolina I style architecture exist in a vibrant community offering visitors the chance to connect to America’s antebellum history with over 36 historic homes and buildings. The small geographic size makes driving, biking and walking tours convenient and free maps are available free of charge.

The East Feliciana Parish Courthouse built in 1840, and the oldest in Louisiana still in operation today, combined with Lawyer’s Row, form a National Historic Landmark. The site served as the location for the popular 1950’s William Faulkner classic, The Long Hot Summer.
